A real recap, not a highlight reel — what actually got built, what's still marked honestly as proposed, and one retired-name bug we caught and fixed along the way.
The website stopped being a pitch deck this week and started becoming something closer to what it should always have been: a real reference for the world we're building, not just marketing copy pointed at it. Eight new pages went up. Here's what's actually in them.
One landing page, linking out to everything below it, with honest status badges instead of pretending things are further along than they are. This is where all the worldbuilding content lives from now on, instead of being scattered across disconnected pages.
Each class page now follows the same discipline: real locked systems clearly marked, gallery art woven through instead of bolted on, and a clearly-tagged "what we're still imagining" section for the parts that are genuinely proposed and not yet founder-locked. Stats sections are honestly marked "coming soon" rather than filled with placeholder numbers.
Worth naming plainly: not every class had the same amount of real material behind it. Vector's page is shorter and leans harder on clearly-tagged proposals than the other four, because that's honestly where the design actually is right now. Padding it to look even with the others would have been the easy move and the wrong one.
A different kind of page on purpose — less spec sheet, more "come see this place." No locked/proposed tagging, just the Market Concourse at full life, four quick vignettes, and Tiffany Cloud-Field's actual first line to close it out.
The real V2.1 spec, founder-ruled over the last two days, reflected honestly on a real page: all eleven specialties, the "modules ARE the bonus" rule that means a Strider's silhouette tells you what it's mastered, and the actual badge art for the full specialty set. Black-Maw Station gets a teaser and its own tracked spot on the hub for when it's ready to be built out fully.
A public production-status page pulling straight from the project's own tracking data — four pillars, honestly labeled as verification progress, not a schedule. Explicitly not a promise of when anything ships.
While rebuilding these pages, we caught something that had nothing to do with any of this work: a page still live under Blackjack's retired name, "Bastion," from before that class got renamed back in July. Full fix, sitewide — the page, every cross-link, the sitemap, all of it. Worth mentioning here specifically because it's the kind of thing that's easy to miss and embarrassing to leave live.
The site is finally starting to hold as much world as the game does. Still a lot more of both to build.
