World of Cogheim / Regions & The Map
The World Itself
Every continent Earth used to have, pushed together into one. This is the shape of the world your Strider walks — not a checklist of every place in it.
Cogheim's world isn't scattered islands or a patchwork of separate continents. It's a single connected landmass, ringed by one contiguous world ocean — the result of Suture-Day, the moment the old world's continents were physically forced back together. The shape of the map is a direct consequence of that event, not an arbitrary art choice.
No hex tiles. No pie-slice sectors. No visible grid lines anywhere on the terrain. Every mountain range, coastline, and biome boundary is generated to read as actual Earth geology — the kind of map a cartographer would draw, not a game board divided into zones.
We're deliberately not listing named locations here yet. Part of what makes a disc this size worth crossing is finding out what's actually on it — and that's a better first experience walked than read off a page.
As places like Black-Maw Station and Meridian Maritime Academy get their own full pages, this page will link out to them — the way the class pages already link to each other. Nothing here yet, on purpose.
