Captain's Log
Third time back at the same wall tonight. Same deck, same measurement problem, same “why doesn't this fit” I've now asked myself three separate nights in a row after a full day on a job site.
Turned out the fix wasn't a fix. I kept trying to force the hull square because square felt like the correct answer, and it just isn't. Let it be uneven and the whole thing sits right.
Three nights to learn that the thing fighting me wasn't the design. It was me insisting on a shape it never needed to be.
Logging it because I'll do this exact thing again on something else, and I'd like to remember it took three tries the first time.
